In celebration of International Women's Day 2026, H.E. Ambassador Amal Almoalimi co-hosted an Iftar at the Saudi Embassy in Ottawa alongside Their Excellencies Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Canada, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Canada, and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Canada. The event welcomed the Honourable Lena Diab, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, as well as several MPs, Senators, and partners to celebrate the significant achievements of women. This gathering served as a platform to reaffirm a shared global commitment to women's empowerment and the ongoing advancement of opportunities for women in all sectors.
